Architectural Review

The Architectural Committee works to maintain the value and visual integrity of homes in Craneridge. This is achieved by ensuring that new construction and modifications to existing homes align with the established architectural style and standards of the community.

Maintenance Committee

The Maintenance Committee ensures that Association-owned property is kept in excellent condition. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, the committee helps determine which improvement and maintenance projects are prioritized each year.

The committee also organizes seasonal community efforts, including Craneridge Earth Day in the spring and a fall work day—both providing opportunities for residents to come together, maintain shared spaces, and contribute to neighborhood improvements.

Neighbor Engagement Committee

The Neighbor Engagement Committee focuses on building a strong sense of community by going beyond traditional social events. Its mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where residents actively participate in shaping and enhancing shared spaces.

Through collaboration and community-driven initiatives, the committee helps foster meaningful connections and a more cohesive neighborhood experience.

Pool Committee

The Pool Committee oversees the operation and safety of the Craneridge pool during the summer season. The pool is open daily, weather permitting, from late May through early September and operates under the jurisdiction of the Erie County Health Department.

A certified lifeguard is on duty at all times.

Homeowners may reserve the pool for private use outside of normal hours. While there is no rental fee, a lifeguard is required and must be paid for by the homeowner.

Woodlands & Habitat Committee

The Woodlands & Habitat Committee is responsible for developing and implementing both short- and long-term plans to manage and preserve the natural forest environment of Craneridge.

As the landscape has evolved over the past 50+ years, the committee works alongside the Board to ensure that the natural beauty and ecological health of the community are protected and enhanced for future generations.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for maintaining the financial health and stability of the Association. This includes developing both short- and long-term financial plans, which are reviewed in collaboration with the Board of Directors.

The committee also ensures adherence to accepted accounting practices and oversees annual financial audits.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee focuses on maintaining clear, consistent, and effective communication across the community. Its goal is to ensure residents stay informed and connected while supporting transparency between the Board of Directors and homeowners.

Strong communication is a key component of a well-functioning and engaged community.

The ByLaws Committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending updates to the Association’s governing documents to ensure they remain relevant, clear, and aligned with the needs of the community.

Welcoming Committee

The Welcoming Committee greets new residents and helps introduce them to the Craneridge community. Members provide helpful information, answer initial questions, and connect new homeowners with available resources.

The committee also organizes occasional events to help new neighbors meet others and feel at home.
